Legal and Institutional Aspects of Integrated Flood Management

This publication aims to raise the awareness of policy-makers about the need for an appropriate legal framework for Integrated Flood Management (IFM). Additionally it intends to motivate and enable flood practitioners, stakeholder groups (including actors of the civil society involved in public opinion building such as NGOs and the media), to engage in dialogue with policy-makers about the legal requirements and best approach to a balanced legal framework for IFM.
