Water is fundamental to all aspects of human and economic development, encompassing agriculture, fi sheries, forestry, health and disasters. The central importance of water for meeting social and economic development objectives and the anticipated impacts of climate change are such that across the globe, many of the eff ects of climate change will be felt through water (World Bank 2010). This is especially true for Cambodia.
