GIZ training on flood risk management in cities

This paper addresses the growing risks of flooding in cities and presents GIZ's expertise in the domain. It introduces hazards involved in urban flooding and describes the main contents of the GIZ training course for urban flood risk management. It also includes a case study examining flood risk and governance in Vietnam. The paper was developed by the working group for Water and Sanitation in Asia.
