DRR in emergency response: learning needs assessment report

This report attempts to map existing disaster risk reduction (DRR) resources and tools and to establish the essential components of a 5-day training workshop for humanitarian workers. It uses a learning needs assessment to map exercises in order to identify the existing DRR resources and an Internet survey which was completed by 146 respondents, and 20 semi-structured interviews, including donors, national NGOs, governments, and UN agencies.
