This report summarises the assessment of the Zugspitze-Schneefernerhaus GAW station in general, as well as the surface ozone, methane, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and nitrous oxide measurements in particular. The recommendations found in this report are graded as minor, important and critical and are complemented by a priority indication and a suggested completion date.

AMCOMET Achievements 2010–2018
Many initiatives and partnerships have flourished under the umbrella of the African Union’s Strategy on Meteorology by aligning their actions with its priorities and demonstrating coherence of efforts. This report highlights key initiatives that have been made possible as a result of the increased visibility AMCOMET has brought to weather, climate and water services in Africa. The report gives us an opportunity to review the first eight years of AMCOMET and to give recognition to its many achievements.

The workshop presentations included research organizations and NMHS experts discussing the challenges and successes experienced using UAVs in field campaigns collecting data in support of environmental and meteorological applications.
