Report of the FAO Expert Workshop on Climate Change Implications for Fisheries and Aquaculture
FAO, 2008 (FAO Fisheries Report-No. 870)This report includes an overview of the presentations and discussions held during the Expert Workshop and presents the conclusions and recommendations agreed upon by participants. Three background documents commissioned by FAO formed the basis for the technical discussions. Report and documentation of the Expert Consultation on Deep-sea Fisheries in the High Seas
FAO, 2006 (FAO Fisheries Report-No. 838)This Expert Consultation was convened in order to address continuing global concerns regarding deep-sea fisheries in the high seas and to build on outputs from previous conferences. The impetus for the consultation also emerged from recommendations of the twenty-sixth session of COFI (2005). Report of the Workshop and exchange of views on fiscal reforms for fisheries - to promote growth, poverty eradication and sustainable management

Discussions were organized first on a thematic basis (mix of fiscal instruments, use of resource rent and managing fiscal reform processes) and then on a regional basis (thematic priorities, coordination, and recommendations for improvement and follow-up). The report summarizes these discussions as well as the presentations made by participants of the situation in each country represented at the meeting. It ends with the conclusions and recommendations adopted by the participants.
