WMO Fellowships
The purpose of the WMO Fellowship Programme is to enable the fellowship holders to derive from their training the knowledge and professional competence which will increase their ability to make essential contribution to enhancing the capabilities of the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHS) and enable them to participate more actively in the economic and social development of their countries.
UN CC:Learn
UN CC:Learn is a partnership of 30 UN agencies which supports Member States, UN agencies and other development partners in designing and implementing results-oriented and sustainable learning to address climate change. CC:Learn is included in the "One UN Climate Change Action Framework" of the UN System Chief Executives Board for Coordination through the HLCP capacity development group convened by UNDP and UNEP.

HOMS is the acronym for the Hydrological Operational Multipurpose System established by the World Meteorological Organization for the transfer of technology in hydrology and water resources.

Voluntary Cooperation Programme (VCP(ES))
In 1967, WMO set up the Voluntary Cooperation Programme (VCP) to encourage support and collaboration between the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) of its currently 189 Member countries. The VCP focuses on meeting the needs of Members through direct financing, and / or transfer of expertise and technology between Members.
Technical Cooperation Programme (TCOP)
Technical Cooperation ensures, through collaborative efforts of Members, for their mutual benefit, the enhancement and development of the capabilities of the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) so that they can contribute to and participate efficiently in the implementation of WMO Programmes, for the benefit of the global community and in support of national socio-economic development activities.
Regional Programme (RP)
The overall objective of the Regional Programme (RP) is to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the six Regional Associations of the Organization in coordinating meteorological, hydrological, climatological and related activities of their Members. The RP provides a framework for regional cooperation in the implementation of the WMO strategies, policies and programmes taking into account regional requirements, capacities and priorities.
Education and Training Programme (ETRP)
The Education and Training Office manages the Education and Training Programme, which serves as an advisory body on all aspects of technical and scientific education and training in meteorology and operational hydrology.
